Abstract

This study analyzes Indonesian government policies in advancing the Islamic economy through a literature review and strategic policy analysis. The Islamic economy, including Islamic finance, the halal industry, social funds, and human resource development, plays a vital role in sustainable national growth. Although policies like the Islamic Economic Masterplan 2019–2024 have been introduced, implementation still faces challenges such as low public literacy, limited MSME access to halal certification, and weak coordination between central and regional governments. The findings emphasize the need for collaborative, community-based, and innovative approaches. This research contributes to understanding public policy in the Islamic economy and highlights strategic directions for improving policy implementation in Islamic finance and beyond.
