About the Journal
Journal of Sustainable Halal and New Urbanism (JOSHNU) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Ikatan Sarjana Nahdlatul Ulama (ISNU) Kota Surabaya. The journal focuses on advancing and disseminating scholarly research that integrates the perspectives of halal, Islamic economics, sustainability, the halal industry, and new urbanism to address contemporary challenges in economic and urban development. JOSHNU welcomes empirical, conceptual, theoretical, and interdisciplinary research that contributes to sustainable, inclusive, innovative, and halal-oriented development.
